Last year Toyota made an announcement of spending $1 billion over the next five years in a new research center for artificial intelligence (AI). At CES, Toyota might make announcements regarding the company’s plans for AI and also plans to crowd source information from its future production vehicles to create up-to-date digital maps.

In the year 2016 we might see many telecom industries taking their role in involving with the automobile industry. Telecom giants like AT & T is already working with auto giants like Audi, BMW, GM, Ford, Tesla, Nissan, Volvo, Subaru and Jaguar Land Rover. Verizon is already working with Volkswagen and Mercedes Benz. Chipmakers like Nvidia, NXP and Qualcomm might dedicate their role in the auto industry in the coming days.
