Vehicles like driverless car, self-driving car, robotic car all come under autonomous vehicle technology. Autonomous vehicles assure safety as they feel their surroundings and respond accordingly with such techniques as radar, lidar, GPS, Odometry, and computer vision. Companies like Audi, Volvo and Mercedes Benz are in talks of adapting autonomy in building their cars.
