Bangalore: With petrol prices sky-rocketing every year, Indian car manufacturers are working hard in designing cars with a focus to save fuel on all terrains as well as building cars that provide luxurious comfort for long drives. As listed by Yahoo news, the following 10 most fuel efficient cars are currently creating an excited buzz in the Indian auto-mobile industry.

Mileage: 25.8 kmpl
Honda introduced first diesel car in India with Amaze. Honda has become the talk of the town for its amazing mileage figures of 25.8 kmpl. This surprising mileage number is achieved without any compromise on performance.  The 1.5 litre i-DTEC engine offers a maximum power output of 100PS@3600rpm and 200 Nm of torque @1750 rpm.  This sub-4 meter Sedan comes out in six levels of color tones and is available in both manual and automatic transmission systems where the Automatic system is available only for the petrol variant.
