8 New Cars Expected To Hit the Indian Roads In 2015

Ford Figo Aspire:

Expected Launch: Mid 2015

Expected Price: 5 lakh - 7.50 lakh

Ford Figo Aspire is expected this July end. It gets a bold new grille and the angular headlamps. The styling is pretty appealing as compared the other compact sedans, but the rear is slightly disappointing and looks a bit low and not eye catching. The new thing which we will get to see in this segment is that the rear number plate is mounted on the bumper rather than on the bootlid like most other cars. The New Ford Figo Aspire will rival against the Honda Amaze, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Xcent and the Tata Zest.

Mahindra S101:

Expected Launch - Festive Season

Expected Price - 4.5 lakh - 6 lakh

Mahindra is planning to launch its new compact SUV to compete with the Ford EcoSport. This compact SUV is already under development with code name as S101. It will be very similar to its elder sibling XUV500 in terms of styling and design. The S101 will probably be powered by the same 100bhp / 240Nm diesel engine that powers the Quanto. However, there’s an argument that S101 will be a front-wheel drive with 1.5-litre K9K Renault diesel engine from Verito.
