Hyundai Creta Compact SUV:

Expected Price: 8.0 lakh - 12 lakh

India is today one of the fastest growing markets for compact SUVs and this makes it clear with Creta’s launch. . Creta looks like a smaller version of the Santa Fe SUV and  shares much of its design with Santa Fe. Hyundai Creta is expected to include a touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, power windows, electrically adjustable OVRMs and rear AC vents. The Creta comes with a 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol engines while the only diesel option will be the 1.6-litre four cylinder unit from the Verna.

Maruti has always been an undisputed leader of the hatchback segment. With its newly launched Ciaz sedan, Maruthi has boosted its sales. Maruti has decided to up its tap to other hot segments too, one of which is the compact SUV segment. It will be launching its new SX4 S-Cross crossover. The S-Cross is expected to fill the gap between Swift and Ciaz and will have competitive pricing to cater to more customers.
