Closely following the Honda Accord is the Honda Civic that is the second most stolen car during 2012. The model years that were most frequently stolen are 1990 to 2000. The Civic currently stands between Fit and Accord after going through several generational changes. The Civic has been the top-selling in Canada for 14 years by 2012.



3. Ford Full Size Pick-Up



Total Thefts: 26,770



The Ford F-150 Pick-up was the bestselling car in the U.S for 14 years. The rate of theft of this car is also unbelievable. About 26,770 cars have been reported stolen in 2012. The most frequently stolen models are of the year 1997, 1999-2000. The Ford-150 has won numerous awards like Motor Trend 2009 Pick-Up of the Year Award in 2009, "Best Overall Half-Tonne Pick-up" from PickupTrucks.com and many more.
