Usually, hotels are promoted for their cozy, luxurious, and pleasant experience, but certain hotels are well known to give a petrifying rendezvous. Checking-in into such hotels can assure you a whole lot of thrilling and blood-curdling moments. From sighting a shady spirit to undefined clamor has been undergone by the hotel staff as well as its guests giving a haunted image to the hotel. Fern Hills Hotel, Ooty

The heritage hotel located in Ooty was constructed in 1844. It is reputed for its eye-catching British architecture. But, apart from these reasons for popularity, the hotel is well known for its horrific paranormal activity. This incident was reported during the filming Bollywood horror flick Raaz. The film's crew including the Choreographer Saroj Khan were residing in this hotel. One night some weird noise of furniture rearranging on the floor above disturbed their sleep. They chose to ignore it, but the next day to their horror they got to know from the receptionist that the hotel has no first floor at all. Later the hotel was closed for a few days after witnessed such paranormal activities.

This hotel is located in Taipei, which is renowned for its mystique lifestyle. It could be quite hard to believe that such a lavish hotel has been haunted. The guests of the hotel have reported some scary activities such as knocking the door in the middle of the night, toilet flushing when untouched, weird sounds not belonging in the room, and more.

These stories might not be a shocker as the hotel has its own casino. For several years now, the hotel has encountered numerous guests committing suicide in its premises out of desperation. Thus, these incidents have evolved as horrifying stories for the guests of the First World Hotel. 
The guest residing in the hotel have felt the presence of the spirit and have reported being pressed by ghosts while they are asleep. Some have even caught the glimpse of some unknown figures. These incidents have occurred in the cursed 21st floor in which the lift never halts.

Located in Sydney’s historic neighborhood, The Russell Hotel may roost itself scenically. However, the hotel also hosts an inquisitive history. Previously, the Russell hotel was used as a makeshift hospital during the bubonic plague and had been patronized by rum-swigging seamen in search of a place to lay their hat for the evening. While creepiness could be sensed all over, especially in the room number 8 as it is speculated to be haunted by a phantom sailor, whose striding footsteps creaks on the floorboards, seemingly without another elucidation. It is said that the ghost is a to be one of a sailor who was slayed by a sex worker in room number 8, who has loitered in that room, possibly waiting for a form of vengeance.
