Wanbury Appoints Prakash Venkatraman as President of API Business
Wanbury Limited is excited to announce the appointment of Prakash Venkatraman as President of its API business. With over 30 years of industry experience, Venkatraman is poised to lead Wanbury’s API division to new heights.
Venkatraman’s most recent role was Senior Vice President of the API business at Shilpa Pharma Life Sciences, where he played a pivotal role in steering the division towards significant growth and successfully meeting revenue and EBITDA targets. Prior to that, he led Global Sales and Business Development for Sun Pharma’s API division, managing a US $175 million business.
His impressive track record also includes eight years at Jubilant Life Sciences, where he served as Senior Vice President of the API business, overseeing a US $105 million division and establishing Jubilant as a global leader in specific molecules. Venkatraman's career also includes notable leadership positions at Wockhardt, Ranbaxy, and Kopran.
Venkatraman holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Management Studies from Mumbai University.
