The World's Most Innovative Cities, Bangalore Ranks Third

9. Copenhagen, Denmark:

The capital city of Denmark, Copenhagen has established a reputation as the leading green city across the globe. It has one of the lowest carbon footprints per capita in the world.

This city also exhibits the most efficient nationalized healthcare in the world, with both parents having the option of taking paid maternity and paternity leaves.

The Danish capital is also famous for its reliable and eco-friendly infrastructure – a new, driverless metro line, encircling the entire city centre, is currently under construction, and over half of Copenhageners commute by bicycle to work or to their educational institute.

Copenhagen is also a frontrunner in terms of sustainability, and is aiming to become the world’s first carbon-neutral capital by 2025.

All these are the reasons for bringing this city into the most innovative cities list.
