‘Right to know’- affected

Govt can still block websites

The court still has instilled the government to block websites if the specific site contains any matter that may prove to create communal disturbance, social imbalance or India’s tie with other countries.

What may be offensive to a person may not be offensive to the other

The SC bench has cited in regard to the act that, what may be offensive for an individual or a group cannot be termed to be objectionable to others. Also it said how a law enforcement agency can determine as to what is offensive or grossly offensive.
