Arun Jaitely:

His longstanding experience in BJP adds a very heavy weight to his responsibilities in the party. He was recently referred to as ‘Mr. Know it all’. He is one man who can help Modi change the course of Indian politics. Despite  the fact that he lost the elections, Modi picked Jaitely for Finance portfolio which truly reflects his importance in the newly formed government.

Rajnath Singh:

He is one among the first few who recognized the immense abilities in Modi. Rajnath Singh gave way to Modi by doing away with the ‘old guard’. Modi owes a load in this. He ensured that Modi stands up strong as the Prime Ministerial candidate and his backing boosted Modi’s wave in the early days of campaign. He is ‘the chosen one’ for Modi, likewise Singh finds Modi’s personality to be very impressive. Prior to the electoral victory, Modi and Singh have had a harmonious relationship. They have been the ‘dynamic duo’ of BJP ever since. 

Manohar Parriakar:

Narendra Modi is known to make decisions in the interest of the nation, his diplomacy fetches him the best and same was his decision with Manohar Parrikar. What makes him the person who matters the most is obviously his Defence Portfolio, one of the strongest of all the ministries. Modi has not been able to keep up cordial relations with neither China nor Pakistan, ever since his inception into the PMO, therefore Parrikar is his right choice.
