PM Modi Lays Foundation for AIIMS, Major Development Projects in Bihar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar when he will lay the foundation stone of AIIMS Darbhanga and several development projects to the tune of Rs 12,100 crore across the state. He will leave for Darbhanga and will inaugurate, lay the foundation stone, and dedicate several development projects to the country.
More than Rs 1,260 crore AIIMS Darbhanga: Prime Minister Modi to lay foundation stone of this project; it's a considerable step in health infrastructure at the regional level. Super specialty block/hospital will be there along with AYUSH block, medical college, nursing college, night shelter, and residential facilities.
This facility will provide tertiary health care for the people of Bihar and surrounding regions.
Special attention will be given to development projects which will enhance connectivity in the region with the road and railway sector.
Prime Minister would lay foundation stone and dedicate as many as multiple National Highway projects worth approximately around Rs 5,070 crore in Bihar.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi would also open the four-lane Galgalia-Araria section of NH-327E. This corridor shall provide an alternate route from Araria on the East-West Corridor (NH-27) to the West Bengal neighboring state at Galgalia.
Besides this, he will lay the foundation stone of two Rail over bridges on NH-322 and NH-31. Prime Minister to Inaugurate Major Bridge on NH-110
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will also be inaugurating a major bridge on NH-110 at Bandhuganj which will connect Jehanabad to Bihar Sharif.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi lays foundation stones of eight National Highway projects including two-lane road with paved shoulders from Ramnagar to Rosera, Bihar-West Bengal border to Manihari section of NH-131A, Hajipur to Bachhwara via Mahnar and Mohiuddin Nagar, Sarwan-Chakai section, among others.
He will lay the foundation stone of Raniganj Bypass on NH-327E. Foundation stones would also be laid of bypasses at Katoria and Lakhpura, Banka and Panjwara on NH-333A and a four-lane link road from NH-82 to NH-33. The PM will also dedicate and lay the foundation of railway projects worth more than Rs 1,740 crore.
He will lay the foundation stone of the Sonenagar Bypass Railway line from Chiralapothu to Bagha Bishunpur in the Aurangabad district of Bihar worth more than Rs 220 crores.
He is also going to transfer to the nation several railway projects worth over Rs 1,520 crores. These include gauge conversion of the Jhanjharpur- Laukaha Bazar Rail section, the Darbhanga Bypass Railway Line that is going to ease railway traffic congestion at Darbhanga Junction, doubling of railway line projects which are going to facilitate better regional connectivity among others.
The Prime Minister is going to flag off the section of MEMU train services. With it, easy access to a job, education, and health services in nearby towns and cities will come with MEMU train services in the section.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi would be inaugurating 18 Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras at different railway stations across India. It would also enable providing medicines at railway stations at affordable prices to the passengers. This would also increase consciousness and the acceptance of generic drugs thereby bringing down the overall healthcare cost.
There he will lay foundation stones of a number of initiatives worth more than Rs 4,020 crore in the petroleum and natural gas sector.
Pursuing vision of bringing Piped Natural Gas to households and clean energy options to commercial and industrial sectors, PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for developing a City Gas Distribution network in five major districts of Bihar, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Supaul, Sitamarhi and Sheohar by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited.
He would also be laying the foundation stone for a Bitumen manufacturing unit of Barauni Refinery of Indian Oil Corporation Limited which would be domestically manufacturing bitumen and reducing dependence on imported bitumen.
