The National Industries Research and Development Council, an autonomous not-for-profit institution under the aegis of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises introduced InDApp, an indigenously developed digital platform aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business for MSMEs.

It was launched by BL Verma, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment and Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.

As per NIRDC, InDApp is designed as a single-window system to speed up access to government approvals, real-time market information, and business opportunities across the country. It forms part of the Council's broader strategy to improve multi-sector facilitation for micro, small and medium enterprises.

Among others, senior NIRDC functionaries present at the launch included National Chairman Shambhu Singh (IAS Retd.), National Vice-Chairman Lalit Varma (IAS Retd.), National Administrator Subish P Vasudev, and other regional heads.

The platform blends physical outreach with digital services, enabling entrepreneurs across sectors and geographies to access information on industrial opportunities, export schemes, financial subsidies, and technology upgrades. It is intended to support MSMEs through their lifecycle-from project planning to implementation-while improving their ability to collaborate and connect with partners across the country.

The Union Minister Verma said, "InDApp is a forward-looking initiative aimed at increasing transparency, offering easy access to opportunity and simplifying processes. It will support entrepreneurs in driving innovation, accelerating growth, and enhancing competitiveness".

InDApp has been developed in coordination with seven Union Ministries: Food Processing Industries; Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying; Agriculture and Farmers Welfare; Commerce and Industry; Environment, Forest and Climate Change; Corporate Affairs; and New and Renewable Energy.
