Kushagra Nandan Launches Bioenergy Firm RED with Varun Karad
Kushagra Nandan, former Managing Director of SunSource Energy, has unveiled a new venture, REnergy Dynamics (RED), in collaboration with bioenergy sector luminary Varun Karad. The company aims to spearhead projects in bioenergy and sustainable energy sectors.
With an ambitious target to secure orders amounting to Rs 5,000 crore by 2029, RED has already confirmed projects worth Rs 575 crore, currently in execution phase. The focal points of their endeavors include the development of large-scale bioenergy projects, provision of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services to renewable energy developers, aggregation and supply of feedstock for Compressed Biogas (CBG) initiatives, and manufacturing and supply of components for biogas plants.
Kushagra Nandan, serving as the Chairman and Managing Director of the company, expressed pride in presenting their innovative bioenergy portfolio, emphasizing its dual impact of meeting renewable energy demands and fostering a circular economy by repurposing organic waste materials.
RED boasts a robust pipeline of self-owned bioenergy projects, with ongoing constructions in southern and western India, projecting a cumulative capacity of 50 tonnes per day (TPD) of CBG. Additionally, multiple projects are in advanced planning stages. The company is currently engaged in executing three substantial EPC projects to establish CBG units, totaling 67 TPD capacity, for Reliance Industries (RIL). Moreover, it has secured orders for biomass supply across various states for bioenergy projects.
Varun Karad, appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RED, highlighted their commitment to providing scalable and tailor-made renewable energy solutions to diverse industries. He aspires to drive positive change and inspire others to embrace a greener, cleaner world.
RED has established a significant presence in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Haryana through its various bioenergy projects, showcasing its dedication to catalyzing sustainable development across regions.
