Iceland Retains Top Position for the World Most Peaceful Countries

There has been political unrest and instability due to the inability of countries to address social, economic, commercial and institutional issues. Syria, once again, stuck to the bottom and named as the world’s least peaceful country. Whereas, the Middle East and North Africa face the greatest decline in levels of peace, numerous regional conflicts and act of terrorism are increasingly growing the threat to peace in those areas. Overall, the lack of any solution to the refugee crisis and rise in death tolls, as compared to the previous year, makes the remaining world relatively less peaceful.
