Iceland Retains Top Position for the World Most Peaceful Countries



There has been political unrest and instability due to the inability of countries to address social, economic, commercial and institutional issues. Further, demolition in the economy due to violence size up to $13.6 trillion in purchasing power parity (PPP) terms in 2015, according to the IEP reports. Now again, that sum represents 13.3 percent of the world’s economic activity or $1,876 for every person in the world.

Syria, once again, stuck to the bottom and named as the world’s least peaceful country. Whereas, the Middle East and North Africa face the greatest decline in levels of peace, numerous regional conflicts and act of terrorism are increasingly growing the threat to peace in those areas. Overall, the lack of any solution to the refugee crisis and rise in death tolls, as compared to the previous year, makes the remaining world relatively less peaceful.
