EatSure collaborates with IRCTC to offer on-train food ordering to rail passengers
EatSure, a leading food-tech platform, has formed a ground-breaking arrangement with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to transform the food ordering experience for train passengers. EatSure's newly released 'order food on-train' service, which is available on its smartphone, allows travelers to order food from a number of eateries and have it delivered directly to their seats while traveling on India's huge railway network.
This initiative is set to be available at 100 railway stations spanning over 75 cities, including prominent locations like Hyderabad, New Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Nasik, NCR, Vizag, and many more. EatSure, the first food-tech platform to cooperate with IRCTC, aims to improve the convenience and options accessible to train passengers for their onboard meal preferences. Using their PNR numbers, travelers may place their meal orders well in advance or even just an hour before arriving at their next station via real-time order tracking, multi-brand ordering options, customer service, and a variety of other features. This simplified technique is expected to provide a smooth and comfortable dining experience during train rides.
IRCTC, with its enormous user base of over 7.5 crore active travelers, will be able to give a broad range of options from recognized brands such as Behrouz Biryani, Faasos, Oven Story Pizza, Sweet Truth, LunchBox, and The Good Bowl to appeal to its passengers' gastronomic preferences. This collaboration is a huge step in improving the overall travel experience for rail passengers in India, putting a variety of delectable dining alternatives at their fingertips.
