Monica Bedi—Passport Forgery

Monica Bedi who made her debut into Indian Cinema in the 1990s did not last quite long in the industry. The budding actress was arrested along with gangster Abu Salem by the Lisbon Police for Passports forgery. In 2006 she was convicted for Passports forgery on a fictitious name. However after the intervention of Supreme Court of India, her jail term was reduced, which she already served.

Fardeen Khan—Cocaine Dealing Case

The irony in Bollywood is that all those actors who perform fairly well in the industry have been involved in  prolonged controversies. Fardeen Khan who was controversy’s favorite for a while in 2001. He was remanded to Narcotics Control Bureau custody for being accused of carrying cocaine, but later the actor was found not guilty.

Shiney Ahuja—Accused for Perjury

2005 Filmfare award winner, Shiney Ahuja was accused of raping his maid in June 2009, which backfired at his career to a large extent. Despite of the proved charges against him, Shiney stated that he had consensual sex with her, which further made him liable for perjury. He however confessed to his crime and awarded seven years of rigorous imprisonment.
