Adani Wilmar Launches Gohana Food Processing Plant
Adani Wilmar Limited has formally commenced its operations in Gohana in the Sonepat district of Haryana from an integrated food processing plant. With a capital expenditure of Rs 1,298 crore, mainly funded through IPO, the modern food processing unit looks to expand its food processing abilities in the Indian market.
It will assist in the socio-economic development of the region by giving 2,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities. The plant has become operational after having successfully dispatched its first lot of 100 MT of rice to customers.

Other than helping enhance production capacity, it will generate great employment opportunities, empower communities to flourish".
The plant spreads over 85 acres and has high technology for producing a vast range of food products. It has an annual production capacity of 627,000 MT and will manufacture 4,50,000 MT of food products including rice, wheat flour, suji, rawa, and maida and 2,00,000 MT of edible oils such as mustard oil, rice bran oil, and cottonseed oil. The plant will also produce animal feed including Mustard DOC and Ricebran DOC.
Designed by Larsen & Toubro Technology Services (L&T), the facility comprises specialized processing units from global technology leaders such as Satake Corporation, Bühler Group, and Alfa Laval India. The entire process is of high quality, with an added focus on efficiency and sustainability.
