China Occupies 640sq Kms of Indian Land

Bangalore: Over a period of time, China has been accused by India for trespassing into its territory and the on-going talks between the two countries have not yielded in any solution, reports Shiv Aproor of Headlines Today.

According to a report by an Indian media, the Chinese troops have occupied the Line of Actual Control (LOAC) and Defense Minister A.K. Anthony is said to discuss this issue in the parliament.

China’s People’s Liberation Army(PLA) have now camped in Ladakh almost occupying an area 640 sq kms. This has resulted in India losing on areas such as Depsang, Chumar and Pangong Tso.  The Chinese invasion has affected the Indian army since they are not able to patrol the above areas.

India and China share a border length of around 3,500 km. And also earlier, there has been a series of Chinese intrusion into Indian area. On April, the Chinese troops had build tents near Ladakh and retreated only after 21days. In another incidence, on June 17th both the troops went face- to-face in Chumar district, as the PLA had encroached into Indian area and removed the surveillance camera, which later was returned after official talks.

According to reports by the National Security Advisory Board (NSAB), around70 sq km of India’s territory is now under the PLA's control at Pangong Tso.

Over the past couple of months, the Chinese troops have been constantly trespassing into Jammu and Kashmir and also into regions of Arunachal Pradesh. With India already losing the Depsang Bulge area due to opposition from Chinese troops, the country now has no intentions on losing ground with their neighbors China.

Yet and unfortunately, India has not shown any signs of aggression towards China.
