Jayalalitha’s Arrest

Indian courts on 27th September 2014 proved that democracy is not to reprimand masses but also reach up to the political chairs. For the first time, a Chief Minister was arrested, Jayalalitha Jayaram commonly acknowledged as “AMMA” in Tamil Nadu was arrested concerning a complaint filed in 1996 by the then leader of Janata Party in relation to accumulation of disproportionate assets during her tenure from 1991-1996.

On October 7th the court rejected her plea for bail; she moved to Supreme Court where she was granted bail to the relief of Tamil Nadu.

Bangalore Shamed:

The country is in shame already due to all the women rape cases in dire circumstances earning a black dot on humanity. Further, Bangalore the IT hub, was further brought down on its knees to a lowly standards by the rape of a six-year old child at Bangalore’s VIBGYOR international school, marking the first case showcasing lack of security in schools. Two other cases of child rape have come to light, to a disaster further pressed down with sexual molestation of three year by the teacher himself to the rise of pedophiles.

Jammu and Kashmir Floods:

During the last stage of monsoon in India, Jammu and Kashmir and the surrounding areas registered heavy rainfall causing floods and landslides in the northern part of the country. Torrential downpour unleashed nature’s instincts to deadly destruction killing more than 270 people and leaving lakhs homeless. Till date, this is the deadliest flood to hit the state.

People were transferred to safe camps with the intervention of the armed forces who built a strong bridge in 2 days in place of the fallen, shows their credit and earns a salutation from the country.
