Satyendra DubeySatyendra Dubey: An Indian Engineering Services Officer, who was the Project Director under the National Highway Authority of India bravely, exposed the corrupt practices renowned Golden Quadrilateral project by the Government of India. He highlighted the problems in contracted firm Larsen & Turbo, sub-contracting the work to the petty low technology groups that are controlled by the local mafia. He even took the issue to the notice of the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, with a request to not reveal his name. But the confidentiality of the sensitive issue wasn’t maintained which plainly led to his murder.

The country just hopes that all such brutal incidents will not reflect in others who might lose their morale and continue to render their services fearlessly.
