Bangalore: With Diwali celebrations in the air and crackers everywhere, there are some who take this joy overseas to celebrate.  The Diwali celebrations have created some favorite travel destinations in the world for Indians who can enjoy their vacation and celebrate Diwali at the same time. As per a survey conducted by Thomas Cook here are the six most visited destinations for Diwali.

Singapore
Singapore is the foremost Diwali destination chosen by Indians. This island country made of 63 islands takes celebrating Diwali very seriously. It can be seen in the massive decorations which starts from the streets and extends to the colonies and homes especially in Serangoon Road which is also called little India of Singapore. As compared to last year, an increase of over 45 percent of Indian tourists is expected to visit Singapore during Diwali this year. Special festival events like the Festival Village, the Fire-Walking Festival and the UTSAV Street Parade have been planned by the Singaporean authorities, keeping the Indian tourists in mind as reported by DNA.
