After Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray’s demise his legacy has rested upon two of his successors. Bal Thakeray spent his lifetime shaping Maharashtra's politics. The question has come down to who will be filling his shows and shaping Maharashtra's future? Will it be his son Uddhav or his nephew Raj? This has created a rift between cousins. If the Shiv Sainiks are asked they would probably like to see both cousins united under the Shiv Sena flag. The political analysts speculate that an electoral understanding between Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena(MNS) led by chief Raj Thackeray could give a more realistic picture of the situation.
