Yet another union territory on the list, Dadra and Nagar Haveli figures at the number ninth spot. At 487 km2 this union territory is one of the smallest among the rest. It boasts of the figures of 95.2 per cent of houses which use electricity.
10. Kerala
Capital: Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum)
Population: 33,387,677
Percentage of houses having electricity in 2011: 94.4%
God’s Own Country features at the number tenth position with 91 per cent of the houses using electricity. Well the state of Kerala is no stranger to positive titles. Some of the titles that this tiny state boats of are; the least corrupt state, highest Human Development Index, the highest literacy rate, highest life expectancy, the lowest sex ratio, and finally India's cleanest state. None that’s a lot of title to boast about.
