20 Pct of Banned Sites Managed by Hindu Groups

Bangalore:  The northeast exodus had seen thousands of people fleeing from different parts of the country following rumors about attacks on them. The deadly clashes between the Bodo tribes and Muslim settlers in Assam had resulted in the deaths of many people and displaced lakhs of people. The government had banned some 250 websites and bulk SMS and MMS for 15 days, but now it is learned that about 20 percent of the web pages blocked by the government have been put up by the Hindu fundamentalist, reports Deeptiman Tiwary of Times of India.

 The Hindu fundamentalists have uploaded 20 percent of the banned web pages that were banned by the various government agencies. It has been found that several clues indicating a large number of SMSs were generated by Hindu groups. Videos showing unfurling of Pakistani flag on August 15 in Hyderabad were uploaded raising eyebrows on the patriotism of Muslims in the Indian city, but the video was found to be of Hyderabad in Pakistan. Several  Hindu groups have seen the conflict as a best situation to make their way in the north east.
