10 New Expectations to Look Forward To in 2016

Modi’s Swaatch Bharat is not the first government clean India initiative. Prior to this, even Rajiv Gandhi had introduced Central Rural Sanitation Program & Vajpayee launched Complete Sanitation Campaign in 1999 in attempt for cleaner India. No fruitful results came up from the latter ones and thus, success of Swaatch Bharat Mission is doubtful. The simple reason being, half of major population of India is unaware of about the serious health and cultural hazards of filth and dirt. Yet countrymen will keep an eye on the future of Swaatch Bharat as celebrities and superstars take initiative to spread this mission across India in 2016.

Will the ‘ban-wagon’ halt?

2015 was a year of ban in India. Maggi, beef, porn, cuss words in public, BBC documentary and a longer list follow. The country waits to see if this list will grow in the coming year or it’s an end to the ban-wagon series?
