Based on DC Comics’ characters, Joker is a psychological thriller which stars Joaquin Phoenix in the main role. Distributed by Warner Bros. The film talks about the origin of Joker, who was a stand-up comedian earlier and his failure turned him to a life of crime and chaos in the Gotham City. Directed by Todd Philips, the movie is produced by Bradley Cooper, Emma Tilinger Koskoff and Todd Philips. With just over two hours of running time, the movie also stars Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz and Frances Conroy in other roles. Also, the movie was premiered at the 76^th Venice International Film Festival on August 31^st, 2019 and won the Golden Lion, the festival’s highest prize.
