These Hindi Movies Surely Inspire You to Travel

Haider:

Bollywood’s latest flick of Vishal Bharadwaj, an intense drama in the lines of Shakespeare’s hamlet, has splendidly covered the Paradise on Earth-Kashmir. Haider was filmed at Pahalgam, Anantnag, Qazigund, Martand Sun Temple, Naseem Bagh, Hazratbal and Sonamarg around Kashmir. These locations literally get covered under sheets of snow during December to February and that was when the dramatic sequences of the movie were shot.

Low temperatures set a different mood to the story. The plot is set amidst the Indian administered emergency hit Kashmir in 1995, which is gives an informative angle to the highest battle ground. Every scene taken in the movie portrays the best of Kashmir as the landscape takes to the paradise. Though it is not the first time where a movie is shot in Kashmir, Haider has a significant position among such movies. From Mission Kashmir to Haider, bollywood owes big to the state.
