From Biopics to Crime Fiction: Enjoy these 5 Thrilling Feb Releases
Movies play a very important role in influencing the youth of today especially after tough times of no blockbuster hits on screen. Movies are inspirational, emotional and thrilling, romance. This bring us to special month of the year 2022 i.e. February. It is the month of the year that is considered as season to express love. As the year begun with not so good in terms of movies, due to Covid-19 wave many movie got re-scheduled in cinemas. 
February is going to be house of entertainment in terms of movie releases from Gehraiyaan to Gangubai Kathiawadi. Due to arrival of lower number of Covid-19 cases, state government has relaxed the curbs imposed on theatre, thus making the youth fall in love with the upcoming five releases in the month that will deal with several genres from entertainment to crime.
As things in Industry are going different, two much awaited movie of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi will hit the screens hoping to get much audience attention. Whereas Padukone’s come back with Gehraiyaan has given a jaw dropping thrill by its storyline. 
These set of Five cinema releases will leave you thrilled and bewilder one. So lets delve into them-
1.GEHRAIYAAN
Gehraiyaan is realistically intense depiction and honest observation of modern- day relationships. It is one of the most anticipated movies directed by Shakun Batra. It deals with the complexities of relationships and stares Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Dhairya Karwa and Ananya Pandey in the lead roles.
This movie tells about relationships in their various dimensions, navigating the sensitivities and complexities in modern relations, infidelity, letting go, adulting and taking charge of one’s life.
Hence Shakun’s Gehraiyana as what we get to hear, is perhaps his darkest take on the subject of love and longing. 
Also Gehriyaan has the potential to hit us hard on our emotions and fill the empty spaces of a story that resonates with everyone who fell in love and then gets detached.
 
2.LOOOP LAPETA
Looop Lapeta is directed by Aakash Bhatia and features Tahir Raj Bhasin, Taapsee Pannu in lead roles.  Looop Lapeta is the Hindi adaptation of Tom Tykwer's German experimental thriller Run Lola RunT and is all set to premiere on February 4 on Netflix.
The story revolves around the plot as When her boyfriend loses a mobster’s cash, Savi races against the clock to save the day if only she can break out of a curious cycle of dead ends.
The film will go around in a “loop” as it name suggests and means that One that is only visible and active for Pannu’s character.
The music is also crucial in making this film funny and trippy with great animation effects. Both Tahir and Taapsee and the supporting cast must yield good public reviews and come out something extraordinary on screens.
 
3.SHABAASH MITHU
Shabash Mithu is a biographical sports movie based on the life of Indian women’s cricket team captain Mithali Raj. The movie casts Taapsee Pannu, Richard Bhakti Klein, Hani Yadav and Asad Ali Palijo in main roles. 
The movie is Directed by Srijit Mukherji.  Basically the movie depicts a few glimpses of her life story, including her days of struggling.
The movie has been shot at domestic and international locations to actually show real life scenes that resonates Mithali’s iconic journey and her life worldwide.
 
4.GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI 
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Biographical crime drama is based on Gangubai, mafia queen and matriarch in the late 1960s. The plot revolves around Gangubai’s life going into dark as she was pushed into prostitution at very early age by her boyfriend. But she did not gave up on her spirit and came out strong to become a powerful women making her connections with the underworld as well and a celebrated madam of her brother in Maharashtra’s Kamathipua red-light district.
Alia bhatt plays the role of Gangubai and is seen in yet another interesting avatar. The actress is again ready to give an amazing movie. 
The interesting fact about the movie is that it is based on Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai, the movie is based on the real-life female of gangster Gangubai. It shows the matriarch of Kamathipura and how she comes to power. The movie also has Ajay Devgn in main role. 
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Gangubai Kathiawadi" teaser is also pleasant to visuals along with dramatic background music and gutsy performance by Alia Bhatt. It gave a spicy new look to alia bhatt with a strong position of a women in today’s society faced by so much humiliation and setting a contrast to the gentle and charming nature of women. 
 
5.THE GREAT INDIAN MURDER 
The Series is based on Vikas Swarup’s 2008 novel Six Suspects.  The show takes to a journey through varied regions across India and weave an intricate tale of crime and politics. 
The plot is intricate as well but the one main ‘murder’ of course is there, also we see so many people killed and murder is being subjected as another attribute of India.   
The Great Indian Murder is produced by Ajay Devgan Films. The Film marks suspicious goings in focus: "Dilli bhi toh gol-gol hain... Shaher chhahe kitna bhi bada ho bade logon ka circle hamesha chhota hi hota hai." The line shows the essence of writer-director Tigmanshu Dhulia's adaptation of Vikas Swarup's Six Suspects. 
Also, the series potrays two investigators- Delhi Crime Branch DCP Sudha Bharadwaj (Richa Chadha) and CBI officer Suraj Yadav (Pratik Gandhi) as the main leads. 
So, all these movies will be a true entertainment after such a long awaited time with nothing interesting for the audience.
