Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey flick holds a romantic storyline aligned vaguely along lines of Inception, although it hit the screens way back in 2004. It comes as a heartbreak for Joel (Jim Carrey) when he learns that Clementine (Kate Winslet), his partner of two years have ended their relationship by erasing him out of her memory. Joel proceeds to adapt the same approach and the two coincidentally meets up as total strangers at a railway station. Things then take a turn for the better. The movie takes us through Joel’s consciousness as he desperately tries to evade the erasing effects by hiding Clementine in remote parts of his unconscious.
