Over 8, 000 Indian Companies Board Amazon Cloud Services
The AWS popularity is blooming in India, about 8,000 companies in India have already moved their servers AWS, the list includes huge enterprises such as Tata Motors, Reliance Entertainment, NDTV , Narayana Health, Macmillan India, EROS International, Malayala Manorama and Sony Entertainment.
Reliance Entertainment has 40 percent of its entire IT workload on AWS.
Amazon's violent charging has also enforced its opponent players to make price cuts, thus making cloud computing more luring for Indian enterprises. The increase in competition is opening more door towards the cloud market.
IBM, throws an open challenge to Amazon by spending millions of rupees advertising its Softlayer cloud, on the other hand Microsoft has shown signs of emerging as data centre in India to drive its cloud assistance in the country.
