Basically, anyone looking to start their own product or firm can go to Amazon, Microsoft or Oracle and sign up for a platform as a service, which provides them with a computer platform and solution stack; all in a matter of minutes.

The dark side of cloud is that, it forces legacy players to radically change their business model, if they do not adapt they are bound to suffer the consequences of being left behind. A cloud based approach can easily be adopted by developers and users alike. This far more economical and end-user friendly approach has the potential to unsettle the current trend by providing the most advanced technologies not only to billion dollar enterprises but also to anyone who has a internet connection.
