U.S. To Pioneer World Wide IT Expenditure: Forrester 2014 Forecast



Bangalore: Dictating the course of the industry, U.S. is predicted to be the bellwether in global business and government IT spend says Forrester, a global research and advisory firm. The worldwide IT disburse will witness a hike of 6.2 percent in U.S. dollars reports ZDNet. The U.S. is presumable to wear the badge of honor with over 40 percent of all IT spend in 2014.  

Verticals that include computer and communications equipment, software and consulting and outsourcing services will receive the major chunk of funds. However Telecom Services are exempted from the investment list as furnished by Forrester. The lion share of the funds will be allocated for softwares alone as it is a significant money drawer accounting for 7.8 percent of IT spends. A blog post by Andrew Bartels, an analyst in the vertical affirmed the lead of software among the tech category with the revival of the industry from economic growth slumber. “The revival of on-premises software will also be good news for IT consulting and systems integration services in 2014” added Andrew.
