Tulip Telecom Wins Rs 87.23 Crore Order From UIDAI


New Delhi: Enterprise data services provider Tulip Telecom today said it has bagged a Rs 87.23-crore order for hosting data centre space from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

Under the three-year contract, Tulip Telecom will host UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) servers from 'Tulip Data City' based out of Bangalore, Tulip said in a statement.

The duration of this project is for three years and is extendable further, it added.

Through this partnership, Tulip host IT infrastructure for UIDAI's project 'Adhaar', which is one of the world's largest database.

In addition to the data centre space, Tulip will also provide a support area for UIDAI, the statement said.

"This is an exciting opportunity for Tulip and the collaboration leverages our leadership in the Data Centre Space in India and represents a tremendous opportunity for partnership and growth," Tulip Telecom Tulip Telecom Chairman and Managing Director HS Bedi said.
