Indian Company Touch Talent Reaches At Global Stage


Bangalore: Touchtalent, a social networking site for creative people from India has started showing early signs of virality. “March was a great month for us” says Touchtalent’s Co-Founder Ankit Prasad. He added “In March alone, we saw 100K visitors viewing 500K pages on Touchtalent. That’s a huge traction by any standard for 8 month old start-up”. TouchTalent has expanded to 180 different countries and 19 different categories including photography, painting, sketching, poetry, animation. It’s been heavily integrated with other social networks giving users a social reach of more than 10 million people.

Appreciation and recognition is one of the many fundamental needs of human beings. People have an inherent need to share what they create and seek appreciation for their creations. Touchtalent addresses the need for appreciation of creative people and users are loving the experience of getting appreciated by creative people from across the globe, preciously what makes them popular in countries like India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

“Millions of users in these countries are waiting for their creativity to be shown to the world. They just need a platform and dedicated efforts. The idea is to bring them on the platform, we aim to reach a user base of 18 Million in by 2015, with the kind of traction we are seeing; we hope to achieve these numbers sooner than projected” says Prasad.

Till date we have received around 2000 buying request, averaging 200 requests per month. With payment gateways in place we would now start tracking the revenues generated for our users.
