K7 Total Security, developed by Chennai based K7 Computing is a malware prevention and antivirus. Founded by in 1991 by Jayaraman Kesavardhanan, the company has 100 plus employees working in the virus detection lab and makes it second on the list.
K7 Total Security provides malware prevention and removal for a subscription period and uses its signatures and heuristics to identify viruses. Some of the other features include a software firewall, e-mail spam filtering and phishing protection.
K7 Computing distributes the software as a download, a box copy, and as OEM software.
