Microsoft Dynamics is an array of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software applications developed by Microsoft. The company markets these products through a network of reselling partners who provide specialized services.

And one of the major products from the Dynamics family launched this year is Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. The Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 is ERP software that offers efficient operations and greater accountability for companies, along with a very flexible enterprise resource planner at hand for meeting and competing challenges within the enterprise platform.

Microsoft Dynamics AX is comprised of four major components- a database server, a File Server, an Application Object Server and a client.

The product comes with logical distribution of business units among modules. This infrastructure gives a better control and participation at the end user level. The product comes in platforms like Windows Server and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
