#8.Indra Nooyi

Indra Nooyi is an Indian-born, naturalized American, business executive, and the current Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo, the second largest food and beverage business in the world by net revenue. Nooyi was educated at Holy Angels Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School in Madras. She received a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Madras Christian College, in 1974 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, in 1976.

Nooyi joined PepsiCo, in 1994 and was labeled as the president and CFO, in 2001. She has been directing the company's global strategy for more than a decade and leading PepsiCo's restructuring, including the 1997 divestment of its restaurants into Tricon, now known as Yum Brands.  Nooyi also took the lead in the acquisition of Tropicana, in 1998 and merger with Quaker Oats Company, which also brought Gatorade to PepsiCo.

#9. Virginia M. Rometty

Virginia M. Rometty is an American business executive. She is the current Chairman and CEO of IBM, and the first woman to head the company. Prior to becoming president and CEO, in January 2012, she held the positions of Senior Vice President and Group Executive for Sales, Marketing, and Strategy at IBM.

Rometty is a member of the Business Roundtable, the Council on Foreign Relations, the President's Export Council, the Board of Trustees of Northwestern University and the Board of Overseers and Managers of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Additionally, during the past five years, she served as a director of American International Group.

#10. Weili Dai

Weili Dai is the president and co-founder of Marvell Technology Group. Dai is considered as one of the most successful women entrepreneurs and is the only female co-founder of a major semiconductor company. Dai worked on strategic partnerships and Marvell's technology that was used in products in several markets.

She has become a driving force in expanding access to technology in the developing world and an ambassador of opportunity between the US and China. Dai advocates for getting more women involved in science and technology.
