Reliance Retail will ensure that all its shoppers derive the maximum advantage of the new GST changes from the very first day, Mukesh Ambani stated. The company committed that whenever expenses decrease because of taxation reforms, consumers will feel the difference immediately on their expenditure. The goal, he added, is to ensure the savings are passed on rapidly and clearly. "Desire to enhance ease of doing business and spur consumer well-being", states Mukesh Ambani.
Ambani further said that the new GST slabs, effective from September 22, are a step in the right direction for businesses and consumers alike. He said the tweaks will make goods and services cheaper, lower business complexity, decrease inflation, and boost expenditure.
In his view, this may give a good thrust to India's economy, which has already expanded 7.8 percent in the initial quarter of this fiscal year. With these reforms, he stated that he feels growth may inch closer to double digits.

Isha Ambani, Executive Director of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, called the GST reforms 'transformative'. She observed that the new regime will lighten the burden on household budgets as well as simplify tax compliance for businesses. To her mind, this is a rare win-win scenario that suits consumers and the retail industry alike.
As per the company's statement, the new GST reforms are being viewed as a significant step in India's consumption narrative. The company mentioned that reducing costs, curbing inflation, making the system more efficient, and enabling businesses to become larger, the reform should benefit all in the retail value chain, including farmers and small industries, suppliers, shopkeepers, and consumers.
Reliance Retail asserted that it will transfer the complete advantage of the reform to the 1.4 billion people of India. Reliance Retail further stated that its aim is to contribute to the establishment of a more competitive, fairer, and more affordable consumer economy.
