Carlsberg Group, a leading global brewery company, has opened its first IT Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Gurugram, strengthening its commitment to digital transformation and expanding its footprint in India, one of its key growth markets.

The new centre will deliver managed IT services, infrastructure operations, and application support for Carlsberg's operations across more than 150 global markets. The company aims to use the centre as a foundation for scalable and sustainable digital growth.

Carlsberg has partnered with GSPANN, a global IT services and consultancy firm, to set up the GCC under a build operate model. While Carlsberg will retain strategic control, GSPANN will handle day-to-day operations, talent hiring, and service delivery.

Esther Wu, CIO of Carlsberg Group, said “India’s exceptional tech talent, combined with GSPANN’s support, will help us accelerate our digital journey and strengthen our global IT backbone”. She added that beyond technology, the GCC reflects the company’s focus on building resilience and sustainability into its global operations.

AP Grover, Co-founder and President of GSPANN, said, “With Carlsberg, we are creating a digital hub that combines speed, scale, and sustainability setting a new benchmark for global enterprises operating from India”.
