In a strategic move to deepen India-US technology cooperation, Nasscom announced the launch of the US CEO Forum at the Consulate General of India in New York. This high-profile initiative aims to bring together prominent Indian technology CEOs and influential American stakeholders to strengthen bilateral engagement across innovation, enterprise, policy, and talent development.
Rajesh Nambiar, President of Nasscom, emphasized the forum’s critical role in advancing India’s global tech presence. “The launch of the US CEO Forum marks a pivotal step in strengthening Brand India on the global stage. Indian technology companies are not only powering digital transformation across the US but also creating jobs, investing in local communities, and driving innovation that delivers real impact”, he stated.
The forum has been conceived as a premier leadership platform, aligning closely with the broader India-US strategic partnership that spans cutting-edge areas like artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum computing, green energy, resilient supply chains, and digital public infrastructure. It aims to foster collaboration among leaders from government, industry, academia, investment sectors, think tanks, and the Indian diaspora.
The initiative also reinforces the $500 billion bilateral trade target set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former U.S. President Donald Trump, positioning the tech sector as a vital engine of growth and innovation.
The inaugural event will feature a lineup of distinguished voices, including Ravi Kumar S, CEO of Cognizant; Ambassador Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, Consul General of India, New York; Amit Chadha, CEO and MD of L&T Technology Services; Anuj Kadyan, Senior Partner, McKinsey; Jason Oxman, President and CEO of the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI); Justin Reynolds, Director for Tech Policy at the US Department of State; Lisa Curtis, Director of the Indo-Pacific Security Program at CNAS; and Malay Joshi, CEO, Americas One, Wipro. They will be joined by Amb. (Ret.) Atul Keshap, President of the U.S.-India Business Council, and several other global CEOs and U.S. enterprise leaders.
Looking beyond the inaugural gathering, Nasscom envisions the forum as a sustained engagement mechanism. It plans to expand its reach to major U.S. tech hubs, including Washington D.C., San Francisco, and Texas. These ongoing dialogues will build a strong network of champions for Indian tech in the U.S., advancing co-innovation, policy alignment, and inclusive digital growth.
The US CEO Forum solidifies the India-US tech corridor as a powerful force shaping the global digital economy.
