It's Not Infy Alone: TCS, Cognizant Too Joining the Downturn

Bangalore: What Infosys is currently undergoing in the year 2012 is largely influenced by the much anticipated global macroeconomic environment and it is also predicted that the same will soon start affecting the other three major IT companies in India, Wipro, TCS and Cognizant.

 Past Glories

For the last two decades, the famous IT companies in India had to face much difficult days. Till now, these four IT companies could set trends that were unprecedented in the Indian as well as global economic environment. They exhibited a robust growth that too without any government subsidies or support, competing with much bigger and more popular multinational companies with world-class work environment, healthy corporate governance standards and delivering on the investor expectations.

These can only be counted as past glories; as recently these trends are found to be diminishing among these companies, where Cognizant and TCS show slightly better performance than Infosys and Wipro.
