Former SEBI chairman Meleveetil Damodaran sits on the board of Tech Mahindra as Director of the company. His initiatives at SEBI have resulted in giving recognition to India’s financial markets as one of the best regulated in the world. The Sixty-six-year-old Damodaran too withdrew about Rs 2 Cr from the company in the fiscal year 2015.
He holds BA Degree in Economics from Delhi University and Law from the Universities of Madras. With his professional excellence, he has won several awards for Leadership, Governance, Transformation and Public Service.
