- Plans to expand to 500 cities by mid-2026
- Launches D2C fitness brand and aims for 10,000 gym partnerships
Fitness tech startup FITPASS has joined hands with Amazon India to offer its subscription based wellness services directly through the Amazon platform. This marks Amazon’s first entry into subscription based services in India, expanding its portfolio beyond traditional e-commerce.
With this partnership, FITPASS will bring its full suite of fitness offerings, including access to gyms and fitness centers, AI powered coaching, personalized nutrition plans, on-demand workout videos, and medical consultations, to Amazon’s vast customer base of over 300 million users. The goal is to make holistic wellness more accessible across India, especially for users in underserved areas.
Akshay Verma, Co-founder of FITPASS, called the partnership a strategic leap, stating that combining FITPASS’s fitness ecosystem with Amazon’s tech and reach will revolutionize how Indians access health and wellness.
In addition to the Amazon deal, FITPASS is ramping up its offline presence. It plans to partner with 10,000 gyms and wellness centers by the end of this year, with a focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The company also launched its own D2C fitness equipment brand, STOGA, which is already receiving around 250 daily orders even before being listed on major online marketplaces.
