In a place like Las Vegas where not one hotel lasts over a generation or two it is unbelievable to find a skyscraper like a Palazzo. Upon completion, The Palazzo, a 53-storey hotel became the highest building in Las Vegas. The hotel contains a casino, a car museum, a shopping center, and a theater— the typical Las Vegas style. The Shard, London—$1.9 Billion:

Gone are the days when tourists used to visit the famous London Bridge, there are lot more additions to London city for the tourists to pay a visit. The Shard is one stop landmark amidst the city. Shard has a hotel, offices and residential apartments in it. The building also incorporates in it many eco friendly concepts. In spite of being such a huge structure it uses 30 percent less energy than other buildings of its size because of the "extensive use of energy-saving materials." It is also the tallest building in London.
