Over 1.14 cr Goods Traded by J&K, PoK Businessmen



Bangalore: Poonch (J&K) Goods worth over 1.14 crore were traded between Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point here, officials said. As many as 24 trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger here to PoK today, they said, adding these trucks carried bags of chilli, petha, herbs and coriander worth 65,15,264. From PoK, six trucks carrying bags of pomegranate, peshawari sandal and almond crossed to this side and these were worth 48,97,332. The officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1330 hrs to 1400 hrs and 1630 hrs to 1700 hrs, they said.
