Sundar Pichai (Google, Alphabet)
Born in Chennai, Sundar Pichai recently took charge of Google’s parent company Alphabet’s CEO only because the co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin stepped down. He was named as the CEO of Google in 2015 and this alumnus of the IIT-Kharagpur. Joined Google in 2004, Pichai was the one behind Google Chrome, Google Drive, Android, Gmail, Google Maps, Chromebook and many Google apps. Prior to Google, he worked for McKinsey and Company, Applied Materials, and was the director of Jive Software.
