5 Brands That Focus On Social Concerns

2. Coca Cola Friendship Machine

A lot can happen over a coffee; but what about building friendship over a coke? And that too between India and Pakistan people? Coca Cola came up with this idea of specially created vending machines that were installed at shopping malls each in Delhi and Lahore.

People on either side were invited to ‘Make a friend in Pakistan’ (in New Delhi) and ‘Make a friend in India’, to share a Coca-Cola. The ‘Small World Machines’ provided a live communications portal linking people through a 3D touchscreen.

It was a smart way to share the brands core messaging through a simple experiential activity, which not only drove an increase in sales, but also generated a lot of consumer content on social networks around the world.

3. Sarvajal Water ATM
