5 Bigwigs Who Are Blamed For India's Economic Crisis



Bangalore: The current economic problem in India is no longer a mystery to anyone. The government is responsible to a maximum extent for the crisis as their ignorance has cost the economy a lot. People know that few politicians are to be hugely blamed for the economic downturn, reports T N Ninan of Business Standard.

The politicians own the general public clarifications as to why the economy in past 5 years has been on a roller-coaster ride. Below listed are such politicians who came to the limelight because of their ignorance and passive attitude-

1. Sonia Gandhi

The Parliament is like a platform for the politicians to play blame-game. The members are great critics as far as opposition’s work is concerned but give lame excuses for their inefficient work. The parliament witnessed Sonia Gandhi saying that it is necessary to generate money for the “food security” programme to be successful and the defects in public distribution system would have to be fixed. She, however, did not suggest any measure to achieve these objectives.
