After serving the effected people, she worked with few reputed firms and established herself as one of the successful resource management consultants during those days. Change came to her life, after she became the mother of a son and wanted to devote all her time in nurturing her son. She took a leave from the corporate world and started and became an independent consultant.

By the end of 2006, with a capital of mere 3 lakh, she came up with the idea of dealing with honey. She decided to bring in a change in the traditional ways of using honey; she focused on the different varieties of honey from various places and named them accordingly.

It took her two years to register her company with the name, ‘Under the Mango Tree’ which made its debut in the ‘Upper Crafts exhibition’ in Mumbai. Her company is one of the leading honey suppliers for the ‘Taj Group of Hotels’ and not very lately, her company got tied up with ‘Nature’s Basket’ to supply honey to the National Capital Region.
